About

The project addresses two critical issues in Pakistan: waste plastic pollution and the high cost and reliance on imports for 3D printer filament. Waste plastic pollution, particularly from PET bottles, is a significant environmental challenge, with a large portion of waste not decomposed properly. Additionally, the high cost of 3D printer filament creates barriers to accessibility and innovation in various industries. The proposed solution involves recycling waste PET bottles into 3D printing filament, providing a sustainable approach to both reducing plastic waste and promoting the adoption of 3D printing technology. This initiative contributes to a cleaner environment and enhances self-sufficiency in additive manufacturing, ultimately fostering innovation and addressing environmental concerns.
