Problem Statement
Roads are an important transportation infrastructure but become deteriorated with time. Timely maintenance of roads elongate their life and contribute directly & indirectly to the country's economy. However, the lack of road analytics data for the concerned authorities to make informed decisions regarding road maintenance is a problem. Current approaches are manual, time-consuming, and are not quite helpful in making policy decisions. Hence, an alternate AI (computer vision) based solution is the need of time.
