Problem Statement
Gait abnormality is a Foot drop problem in which the dropping of the forefoot happens due to weakness or damage to the peroneal nerve. The solution for this problem is designing Foot Drop Orthotic Device. Functional electrical stimulation (FES) circuit with an Electromyography (EMG) sensing and transmitter circuit for sending the timing signals to the disabled leg for synchronization via Bluetooth. This device battery is operated with a minimum current that is safe for patients. This product is a real unmet need.
